Gender and the environmental concerns of young farmers: Do young women farmers make a difference on family farms?

Although the visibility of women farmers in agriculture is increasing, we have little knowledge about impact this will on environmental management family farms. Numerous studies documented that young show high concern for environmentally friendly farming practices relative to male farmers. However, farms are still a prominent business form globally, and it unclear whether or not can expect different employment statuses (manager, full-time farm worker spouse) work schedules (full- part-time) any differences adoption compared This study investigates question how increasing farms, women's sensitivity concerns male's, plays out dynamic adopting Agri-Environment-Climate Measures (AECMs). Our results confirm gender AECM behavior when investigate farmers; however, part-time disappears, while they emerge subsidies received.
